Sam Buckley

Architect
Using architecture as a vehicle to give back to people and community is my main drive. I strive to design buildings that are accessible for all, and the collaborative and communal ethos here supports that goal. ”

Sam is an architect in our education studio. He has experience spanning multiple sectors, including hospitality, residential and private and higher education.

Sam has worked on progressive projects at the majority of RIBA stages, including Regents College London and Phase 1B of the Nottingham Island Quarter masterplan. He has a passion for socially driven architecture that is sustainable, accessible, and progressive.

Since studying for his master’s degree, Sam has been intrigued by building re-use, in particular the repurposing of post-industrial buildings for creative uses.

Sam is involved in the mentoring programme at Jestico + Whiles, tutoring pre-university and Part 1 work-experience students from multiple educational institutions in the South of England.
