Air filled with sawdust and the roar of heavy joinery machinery were familiar sounds for Lauris in his youth.
Now training as an architect, the practicality of furniture making, coupled with the romanticism of expressionist art, is what guides his him and his practice.
Experienced in every stage of design work, Lauris currently works with competition teams across all the practice’s sectors.
From crowdfunding charity projects to homemade sculptural objects, he continues to create inside and outside of the studio.
