Bringing experience across multiple areas of architecture, Charity has specialised in school design since joining Jestico + Whiles.
Her focus is on the competition, design and construction phases of education projects, encompassing both state and independent schools, in the UK and abroad.
Through her interest in the social and contextual aspects of design, she has contributed to research for housing and hospitality projects.
Driven by a desire to broaden access to the profession, Charity has developed an in-house mentoring scheme for students at schools designed by the practice, alongside her involvement in other outreach programmes.
A skilled speaker, she has delivered presentations on sustainable school design, both internally and to wider industry audiences.
